This week’s assignment was to recreate the game pong. We got the assignment right around the time of the second republican primary debate, so I thought it would be fun to make a game that reflected the debate.

Since our work in class was so upbeat and playful last week, I thought it might be interesting to see if I could make something a little more serious for homework. With all the news about Syria lately, it was a natural choice of subject.
For ICM week one we had to create our own screen drawing in P5.js using only 2D primitive shapes.
My drawing is inspired by a recent whale watching trip out on Cape Cod. I’ve wanted to go whale watching since I watched “The Voyage of the Mimi” in third grade.
