I’m a digital strategist and producer.
For the past decade, I’ve worked with media organizations and nonprofits to engage communities effectively about causes I care about. Currently, I’m director of digital communications at Blue Chalk Media, a digital media company harnessing the power of nonfiction visual storytelling for nonprofit, journalism and education organizations.
In the past I worked as operations and social media manager at MediaStorm and led and implemented communications strategies at the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ), Save the Children USA, the United Nations Population Fund and the Women’s Refugee Commission.
Late at night you can find me working on Ochre, a digital journal presenting stories about changes in the visual storytelling industry, and Learn Aerial, an online hub for aerial artists and appreciators in New York City.
When not sitting in front of my computer, I can usually be found teaching or performing at any one of Brooklyn’s fine aerial acrobatics institutions.
I’m currently a graduate student at New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. This blog is my homework.
